Comedy Nation This Week- Politically Independent and Irreverent  with an anti-capitalism twist; this show will provide weekly commentary and discussion on the charade of a democracy where the corporations own the candidates and other events in the news. Hosted by comedian/pundit Bill Bronner, guests will include featured humorists and their ongoing views of happenings of the week. Taped on Fridays, Listen now, before the traditional news outlets have provided the corporate twist on reality with their weekend talking heads shows.

Bill Bronner

Bill Bronner has been an active member of the political comedy community since moving to Los Angeles in 1986. Declining to pursue a legal career after graduating from the University of Tennessee School of Law in 1981, Bill relocated to San Francisco and became active in the Bay Area comedy community. An advocate of using comedy as a tool to promote social change and political reform, Bill created the "Free Speech Show" in 1996. The long running show features a variety of comedians and pundits delivering monologues on a specific topic, followed by an unrehearsed panel discussion. A favorite show of many performers, the show continues in its present incarnation on "New Dissident Radio". Bill is married to Sandra Richards and parent of a precocious 12 year old son. Bill's daughter, January Thomas, is also active in the comedy community and a new mother of his first grandchild.
