There, he also launched his writing career as a popular humorist with the Chicago Tribune and alternative newsweeklies New City and Chicago Reader - a dual career that has resulted in him winning the Laugh Factory's "America's Funniest Reporter" contest. |

Another great episode of GTA featured special guest JASON McHUGH, who is a 20 year friend of "South Park's" Trey Parker and Matt Stone, so he told us crazy stories about those guys and the making of South Park, Orgazmo and Cannibal! Jake and Brant kick off the episode with a wildly funny discussion of the week's news, including the battle between Susan G. Komen Foundation and Planned Parenthood, while Carl went searching for our first guest, a homeless Iraq vet named JUSTIN PACKARD who inspired us to launch a drive to help homeless vets. But the second hour was prime GTA insanity, as "Tonight Show" comic BARRY ROTHBART returned to the studio for a hilarious discussion of Vanilla Ice's career, bad '80s music, horrible concerts, and things so outrageous we can't even put them in writing!
