The Bobs |
Sprung from the ashes of the Great San Francisco Singing Telegram Depression of 1981, The Bobs have blazed a unique, unparalleled trail in the flourishing world of vocal music. From an auspicious debut at an open mike in a Cuban restaurant in Berkeley (they sang "Psycho Killer” after every other performer butchered “Malaguena”) to a Grammy nomination, The Bobs have always clear-cut their own musical freeway. Their fifteen album catalogue is chock full of impossibly creative, award-winning original material and their trademark deconstruction of familiar pieces from Bach to Hendrix. In their 25+ year career, they’ve toured the world, performing in venues as diverse as New York’s Lincoln Center, Berlin’s Passionkirche and Billboard Live in Hollywood. www.Bobs.com |
